Family living in Lünen: In this institution we support full-year parents and their children in an open, stationary setting. Our goal is to strengthen families on their way to a self-responsible life, especially parents with mental illnesses or those who want to go a further step towards self-employment.

You support parents and children in everyday life and help build a secure and sustainable parent-child bond You accompany the mothers/fathers in the development of education, everyday and care skills and strengthen them in their parent role You promote the personal and social development of parents through targeted discussions, reflections and practical instructions Together with your team, you develop individual help plans, accompany them actively and are the central contact person for parents and children You support parents in managing traumatic experiences, biography work and strengthening their self-perception You shape rituals, routines and day structures that provide parents and children orientation and security. You work closely with youth offices, doctors, therapists: both inside and other institutions to ensure optimal support.

A completed training or study in the pedagogical field, e.g. educators:in, youth and home educators:in, nurses;in, social education, social work or medical education. Joy in working with children, young people and young adults in challenging situations of life. Empathy, loadability and the ability to act flexibly and solution-oriented. Want to introduce new ideas in a dedicated team and move something together. Willingness to work in shiftwork, even at night and at weekends.
