Senior Consultant (m/d) (debate group 13 TV-L)

to cover 50% of regular working hours. It is a qualification body within the meaning of the Science-Time Contract Act (WissZeitVG), which serves to promote a doctoral degree in the field of natural sciences. The body is limited to 3 years due to the financing of third-party funds. An extension to the completion of the doctorate is possible within the limitation limits of the WissZeitVG. Cooperation in the above-mentioned multidisciplinary collaborative research area for establishing Confinement Effects as a key concept in catalysis photography Investigations of mono-, bi- and trimetallic mesoporous systems (e.g. Cr-MIL catalysts) using methods of static and time-correlated X-ray spectroscopy (XAS, XES) for the identification and utilization of Confinement effects Regular execution of XAS and XES measurements at Synchrotron facilities and FELs in Germany and abroad Appropriation of supporting methods for carrying out/evaluation of the measured X-ray spectra (including TD-DFT calculations) Establishing and maintaining active cooperation with numerous subprojects within the CRC 1333 Participation in project meetings and theme-specific meetings Compilation of publications as well as measurement time and, if necessary, Third-party applications

Academic degree (master or comparable) in chemistry or physics Experiences in X-ray spectroscopy (X-ray absorption and X-ray emission) and theoretical spectroscopy or inorganic complex chemistry as well as in the planning and execution of corresponding experiments Independent and targeted work Identification with the multidisciplinary character of the Collaborative Research Area (Catalysis, Materials Science, Analytical Chemistry and Theory and Simulation) and the willingness and enthusiasm to work on new scientific questions beyond their own research topic. Readiness and active participation in events and training activities of the CRC as well as regular scientific exchange within the (post-)doctoral community of the CRC 1333
