Head of Occupational Safety & Environmental Protection (HSE) for Department HHSH3 (m/f/d)

DGUV V2 Operating times: Monitor and secure the legally prescribed operational times of the workers for occupational safety according to DGUV Regulation 2 at the Oberkochen site in coordination with the Head of HSE Group Operational Legal Compliance Work Protection: Ensure complete compliance with the requirements in the work and environmental protection (ArbSchG, ArbStättV, BetrSichV etc.) at the Oberkochen, Aalen and Wetzlar sites, as well as evaluating innovations and changes in legal requirements ISO Standards & Certifications Optronics: Monitor compliance with relevant ISO standards and certifications for all Optronics locations; conducting or coordinating audit preparations; derivation and follow-up of corrective measures Legal Compliance HSE Optronics: Ensure complete compliance with all HSE requirements in the defined Optronics task area; Identification and evaluation of new legal changes with relevance for Optronics Providing legal compliance with export and import as well as sending hazardous substances for production and customer service Target control & Reporting Optronics: setting and monitoring local HSE targets at Optronics locations; reporting of HSE key figures to management and production management; Tuning measures with local stakeholders Optronics: Advising and supporting department managers and departments in all HSE issues focusing on substance-specific and optics-specific hazard situations; Further development of HSE culture at Optronics locations Conducting internal and external audits to monitor compliance definition and development of HSE processes and key figures within the HENSOLDT Management System (HMS); Providing recommendations for action for departments and production control of external partners & service providers: commissioning and quality control of external occupational safety service providers, experts and test organisations at the Ulm site; Ensure performance quality according to agreed specifications Personnel management, training & Budget responsibility: Professional and disciplinary leadership of employees; Ensure the training and counselling of employees in their own and in other areas of expertise (work protection teachings, guidance of production); independent decision-making within the agreed budget Reports of monthly HSE figures to the local management bodies, the production areas and the Safety Committee meetings

Complete degree in engineering, environmental engineering, safety technology or comparable qualification Additional qualification for the occupational safety specialist (Sifa) and ideally further HSE-relevant qualifications Multiannual professional experience in the field of occupational safety and environmental protection, of which at least a few years in senior function Experience as Head of Division Knowledge of relevant legal regulations and standards (e.g. ArbSchG, BetrSichV, GefStoffV, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001) Long-standing experience in the development of management systems Leadership, Communication Strength and Enforcement Structured, analytical and solution-oriented operation Very good German and good English skills
