Nurse - Pediatric Emergency Department

Make part of our specialized team and help ensure the best possible care for acutely ill or injured children and young people! For our children's emergency (C.U1.A) including fast-track station (new building) with the focus on paediatric emergencies in the areas of neuropaediatrics, child gastroenterology, pneumology, cardiology and surgery, we are looking for engaged gain. They work in an experienced and motivated team of nurses, doctors and medical professionals at the Kinderklinikum Nuremberg | Campus Süd.

Tasks:

• First care and professional care of children and young people in acute medical emergencies
• Emergence of patients according to the ESI trip system
• Stationary intake and supply of elective patients in the areas of neuropaediatrics, child gastroenterology, pneumology, cardiology and surgery
• Coordination and close cooperation with the interdisciplinary team of children's emergency reception as well as with preclinical utilities (emergency doctors and rescue services)
• Implementation of quality assurance measures and continuous development of care quality and patient satisfaction
• Sensitive and supportive handling of small and large patients and their relatives
• Careful documentation and reporting of the measures carried out in ORBIS
• Ensuring cooperative, interdisciplinary and multi-station cooperation

Requirements:

• Complete training as a nursing professional / nursing professional with specialisation in paediatrics or as a health and child care professional
• Experience in paediatric and child-surgical emergency care is of advantage
• Rapid opinion and decision-making
• empathy and joy in dealing with children, young people and their relatives
• Embossed team spirit, flexibility and resilience
• ready for shift and weekend work
