SAP Platform Engineer (m/f/d)

Operation & Administration of the SAP system landscape: You are responsible for the stable and secure operation of the SAP systems, in particular the SAP S/4HANA landscape. These include the installation, configuration and ongoing administration of the system components

Support for hybrid system landscapes: You enter the SAP systems in both on-premise and cloud environments (especially SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP). Your task is to ensure and optimize their seamless integration into the hybrid IT architecture

System Care & Security: You ensure the up-to-date and security of SAP systems through regular updates and upgrades, the deployment of support packages and the implementation of security notes

Authorization & License Management: You develop the authorization concepts for SAP S/4HANA, perform regular separation of Duties (SoD) controls and are responsible for the optimization and measurement of SAP licenses

Maintenance & troubleshooting: Proactively perform regular maintenance and housekeeping activities, analyze and eliminate system disruptions and coordinate external service providers as needed

Monitoring & performance optimization: You monitor the performance of SAP systems with established SAP monitoring tools and the functionalities of the SAP Cloud ALM (CALM) and thereby initiates measures for continuous optimization

Migration projects & technical advice: You actively contribute your sound technical SAP know-how Migration projects in the context of digital transformation and assist the departments

Qualification: You have a completed study of (economic) informatics or a comparable, practical qualification

SAP administration practice: You have over several years of experience in SAP system administration, especially with SAP S/4HANA. Funded knowledge in the entire SAP base environment is essential

Cloud & Infrastructure Know-how: You are familiar with current SAP cloud solutions such as SAP BTP, SAP Cloud Connector and ADS and has a solid understanding of general IT infrastructure components

Interface competence: Your experience includes current interface technologies, and you can safely move into complex and integrated system landscapes

Tool expert: Ideally, you bring knowledge in Application Lifecycle Management (e.g. CALM), license management and authorization management

Personality & working methods: A structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working distinguishes you. You work independently, are proactive and reliable, show your own initiative and are a real team player

Communication: You have very good knowledge of German (safe for negotiation) and good knowledge of English that will enable you to communicate smoothly with colleagues from IT and specialist departments
