We are looking for a software developer (m/w/d) for simulator applications in the field of energy technology at Erlangen. The position must be occupied within a 35-hour week.

The following challenges await you as a software developer (m/w/d) simulator applications:

• Implementation of technical and procedural requirements in simulators
• Adapting project-specific TXS applications to custom simulators
• Development of new simulator models for modernization projects
• Processing of offer requests and creation of offer texts and calculations
• Implementation of commissioning of simulator applications at the customer
• Close coordination with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality and customer requirements

Your profile:

• You have completed your studies in electrical engineering, automation technology, computer science or a comparable field of expertise
• You bring well-founded experience with the TXS Space Core software and the spacedb Python interface
• You have deep knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems as well as the use of virtual machines (VMware)
• You have practical user knowledge in Linux
• They master programming languages such as LabVIEW, Grafana, Python, PyQT and/or C
• Ideally, you are additionally familiar with C compilers such as GCC and Visual Studio and have experience in creating and adapting makefiles
• Good English and fluent German skills complete your profile
