Planning & controlling maintenance – you are responsible for the entire field of maintenance of systems of general electrical engineering, power supply systems and supply systems of high, medium and low voltage in all buildings of the KIT university task. You agree on framework conditions with the requirements, prepare decision-making bases for the organisational management and develop efficient, sustainable workflows. Organize repair & maintenance – coordinate repair, maintenance, inspection, testing and minor re- and new construction measures at the central infrastructure and ensure compliance with all occupational safety regulations. Employees lead – You lead and support the team, conduct employee talks, accompany complex tasks, plan further training measures and organize the willingness to resolve the problem. Ensure electrical safety (VEFK) – As a responsible electrical expert, you assume the electrical safety responsibility, including risk assessment, regular instruction and training. Coordinating foreign companies – you control the use of service providers within the framework of maintenance and service contracts, check incoming invoices and monitor the performance of the contract. Customer Consulting & Disruption Management – You advise customers in case of malfunctions and preventive, take measures with customers, executive units and, if necessary, the organisational management and coordinate their implementation. Supporting planning and construction departments – you can consult the planning and construction departments as well as external planning offices on electrotechnical issues and bring your expertise into new construction, reconstruction and renovation projects.

Training – you have completed engineering training in the field of electrical and supply technology. Professional experience & leadership – You have several years of experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical installations of the central infrastructure as well as management experience. Communication strength – You have a high degree of communication and dialogue capability. Cooperation & problem solving skills complete your profile. Business Administration & IT – You have business knowledge and well-founded SAP and DV knowledge. Driving licence – you have a class B driving licence. Continuing training and readiness – you are ready to develop and participate in standby services.
