Field Service Engineer for Optical Metrology (m/f/d)

Responsible preparation, installation, commissioning and maintenance and repair of optical measurement and production systems at national and international customers Self-support and support of customers on site or by remote maintenance Supporting external and internal customers via the service ticket system Implementation of all necessary measures for installing and commissioning new products as well as user input into systems and software Create, maintain and track customer-specific maintenance and service plans Ensuring maintenance and repair work at the customer's premises Creating service and maintenance reports Support in the training and training of customers and colleagues Close cooperation with the Service Support Team as well as interfaces to R&D, sales and production

Travelling

Cars (VW ID7 or similar) for private use 50 % - 80 % of working time is spent on business trips Travel both nationally and internationally, with several overnight stays per week The place of work is either our location in Wedel or an external service location near an international airport (Hamburg, Berlin Brandenburg, Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne Bonn)

Successfully completed studies (Bachelor) in electronics, mechanical engineering or a comparable subject (or equivalent vocational training) 3 - 5 years of professional experience in field service, ideally in optical measurement and manufacturing technology as well as installation and maintenance Embossed customer orientation and servicement, high initiative and readiness to use High flexibility, travel and intercultural openness; knowledge of German and English Safe handling of MS Office and ERP solutions National and international readiness to travel 50 - 80%
