Strategic editorial board: You produce texts, you are responsible for thematic planning, organization, stapling and the final imprimature. Content control: You acquire and edit specialist articles, reports and articles for our print and online channels. Network management: You build a resilient network to decision-makers from companies, associations and universities – whether at trade fairs, press conferences or corporate visits. Editorial Management: You coordinate closely with the scientific editors on scientific (peer-reviewed) main articles as well as editorials and coordinate the editorial sessions. Crossmediales work: You will strengthen the online presence of ingenieur.de in the category Construction and Building Technology with sound content. Under the brand bauingenieur.de you offer the most out of your book behind the Paywall. You actively control the LinkedIn channel of bauingenieur.de. You will also like to participate in the implementation of podcast and video formats and webinars. Interface work: You work closely with the VDI department of construction technology and coordinate external editors and editorial offices. Growth & relevance: You support advertising sales, sales and marketing to continuously increase our range and market presence.

You have a degree, ideally with the focus on civil engineering or a comparable qualification. You bring a complementary journalistic education (Volontariat) or many years of experience in journalism. You have well-founded experience as an editor in a B2B journal. You have profound expertise in technical reporting (construction, energy, environment, IT). You can demonstrate demonstrable success in the digital transformation of print brands (SEO, newsletter marketing, social media). You convince by a safe occurrence, high communication strength and are already well connected in the industry. You are safe in handling electronic editorial systems (we use Purple and Tango) and bring sound CMS knowledge. Digital workflows, SEO optimization and modern content formats are everyday for you. You work independently as well as structured and are a real team player*in. You have absolute text security in German as well as knowledge of English that is safe to negotiate.
