Senior Project Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

You control and optimize all PSM (Procurement & Supply Management) relevant activities and transactions in order processing. You are responsible for achieving the defined purchasing goals within the complex customer projects. You make sure that the procurement process is completed on time in the procurement plan. You take over the professional leadership of cross-functional project teams and actively control the resources of the line functions. You initiate yourself and continuously implement measures to reduce costs and avoid delays in delivery. You make sure that the complex customer projects receive the required materials and services in correct quality, at the best price and at the right time. You make sure that the customer-approved project suppliers match the product group strategy. You use created key figures and the further development of the procurement process to actively contribute to project success. As part of one of our customer projects, you take over the role of the subproject manager procurement.

You have a degree in economics, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification. You have relevant professional experience in strategic purchasing and project work and keep track of contract negotiations. Your technical and commercial understanding helps you understand the requirements of upstream and downstream departments. You have very good methodological knowledge, especially in project management, as well as strong knowledge of procurement markets and strategies. You show high enforcing, readiness for responsibility and strong self-motivation to achieve your goals. Also in dynamic and stressful project phases you keep an overview. You are able to easily and intelligibly present complex facts and communicate them over all hierarchical levels. You work independently, result-oriented and have a pronounced analytical ability, negotiation skills, persuasive power and a high team orientation. Since our projects are worldwide, you are ready for regular national and international missions - we require very good German and English knowledge in word and writing.
