As a member of the central system administration of one of the leading technical universities in Germany (TU9), You will manage, shape and develop a diverse server landscape. Energy-saving, virtualization, IT security and data protection as well as professional service management are important to us as a data center. You serve server-side applications in the area of identity and access management and work significantly in improving the services. You agree with the specialist departments and implement them conceptually and technically.

A prerequisite for recruitment is a completed higher education (Bachelor) in computer science or a scientific discipline. In addition, you have experience/knowledge in the following areas: • Administration of Windows and Linux servers • Use of virtualization technologies such as Proxmox and oVirt • Programming under Python, Java or Unix-Shells • Using databases such as PostgreSQL and Oracle-DB • Basics of IT security technology • Network technology Professional knowledge of German (as a foreign language at level C1) and good knowledge of English in word and writing are expected.
