Senior Manager Decision Intelligence (m/f/d)

You have experience in developing a data roadmap as well as a Lakehouse and Data Mesh architecture that is tailored to global corporate strategies You know how to build an end-to-end architecture with modern cloud data platforms – including Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Streaming Pipelines, Governance and MLOps knowledge in the field of artificial intelligence (e.g. Generative AI) is desirable; you can evaluate suitable platforms and accompany first use cases You lead a six-headed, interdisciplinary team and make it a powerful high-performance unit You know how to prioritize a portfolio of relevant data-driven use cases, deliver fast MVPs and make successful solutions scalable You are actively approaching stakeholders from different business areas – from production to purchasing and sales to IT – and you can also integrate international partners, such as a Japanese headquarters, into your work and inspire data-driven thinking Show the business value of your solutions with clear KPIs, A/B tests and ROI tracking and report regularly to management bodies

Complete Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics or Similar as well as at least 5 years of relevant professional experience Detectional experience in building and integrating Lakehouse and Data Mesh platforms in Brownfield concert environments Funded technical know-how in cloud storage architectures, data mesh, ETL/ELT orchestration, data streaming, MLOps and automation tools such as GitHub Actions or Terraform Knowledge of machine learning, time series forecasts and generic AI (LLMs, RAG) are advantageous Confidence with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001 as well as strong entrepreneurial thinking and hands-on mentality to quickly implement user-centred MVPs Experience in building and coaching interdisciplinary teams as well as in change and stakeholder management at different corporate levels Very good knowledge of German and English – other European languages or Japanese are of advantage
