Head of Medical Controlling (m/f/d)

You guide the medical control team professionally, organizationally and personnel and develop the field strategically with regard to legal changes. You ensure complete, high-quality and timely medical documentation and coding. You are responsible for the control and monitoring of medical service (MD) testing procedures, including the implementation of measures resulting therefrom. You are responsible for the management of the structural checks according to § 275d SGB V (OPS), the G-BA procedure according to § 136 SGB V and the performance group checks according to § 135e SGB V. You have a significant impact on hospital planning, outpatientization and the further development and optimization of processes in the context of the DRG system. You advise the management and departments in revenue-related issues and develop measures for the economic management of the hospital on the basis of performance and revenue analyses. You coordinate the application for new methods of investigation and treatment (NUB) and prepare forecasts for minimum quantities according to § 136b SGB V. You control and coordinate the external quality assurance according to § 135a SGB V.

You have a successfully completed degree in the field of medicine, health economics, health management or alternatively a completed vocational training in health care with a relevant further education in medical controlling. You have professional experience in the medical controlling of a hospital and optimally also first leadership experiences. You have comprehensive knowledge of the DRG system, hospital financing and the relevant legal framework. You have a strong leadership, decision-making and organisational competence and a high level of responsibility. You are characterized by strategic and entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to successfully shape change processes. You convince by communication strength, negotiation skills and a safe, sovereign occurrence. You have enforcement capacity as well as a structured, independent and solution-oriented way of working. You have a safe handling of hospital information systems (KIS) as well as common MS Office applications, especially Excel.
