Become part of our team and support us from September 2025 in shaping the political communication of a large group. As part of our team at the Mercedes-Benz headquarters, you work in the direct environment of top management. You learn firsthand how external communication works at the highest level in a dynamic, political environment. In this internship you will get to know the positioning of Mercedes-Benz in the media and on social media on current topics in the field of business and politics. Support our team in journalism requests, interview preparations and analysis of political issues. Our mission is to build the most desirable cars in the world, and we want to carry this message together with you to the outside. The central challenge is to make political content understandable and media-friendly – both internally and with the public. Your tasks: Cooperation in the preparation of presentations, briefings and language regulations in close cooperation with the responsible persons from the departments Support in researching and writing press texts and answering press requests on corporate and external affairs Write and edit texts for Social Media Posts and the Intranet on Corporate and External Affairs Support in the positioning of executives and executives at Corporate and External Affairs Participation in the strategic development and internationalisation of the corporate and external affairs communication of Mercedes-Benz Takeover of overarching corporate communications projects at Mercedes-Benz Support of the team in all tasks of the daily business

Course: Media Management, Communications, Humanities, Social Sciences or Economics Studies, Journalism or a comparable course of study Basic interest in a broad spectrum, in particular in (economic) political issues Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing High linguistic competence and the ability to bring complex facts to the point and to formulate them in simple language IT knowledge: Safe handling of MS Office, especially very good and visually pronounced PowerPoint skills Personal competencies: Thequantity sense, readiness, strategic and networked thinking, safe and friendly appearance, structured working, curiosity, sense of responsibility and high self-initiative Others: Ideally first practical experience in journalism or in press work, basic understanding of political issues is advantageous Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
