Strategic Business Partner for financial and economic issues at local and cross-site management level; central financial contact for the Freiburg location and the location management. Leadership of the local finance team (5 employees) with full professional and disciplinary responsibility, including recruiting, coaching, performance management and promotion of engagement and ownership. Close cooperation with operations to analyze performance, KPIs and profitability in production and manufacturing environments. Responsibility for budgeting, forecasting as well as all activities in the monthly and annual financial statements, including bookings, voting and drafting of financial reports. Creation, interpretation and presentation of financial analyses, reports and business cases to support sound decisions. deriving insights and solutions to complex business issues that have a positive impact on location and franchise results. ensuring a strong compliance awareness at the site and compliance with local legal requirements, internal guidelines, cost accounting standards and internal controls; Responsibility for legal issues and coordination with internal and external auditors. differentiation and application of HGB and US GAAP, including coordination with relevant stakeholders. Close cooperation with the Accounting Shared Service Center in Poland and co-designing cross-site best practices. Contribution to the Integrated Business Planning (S&OP) and cooperation in various cross-functional initiatives. Sovereign handling of large amounts of data and clear communication of findings within a matrix organization. Identification and management of process improvements to optimize quality, documentation, controls and automation

Required qualifications: Completed studies of business, finance, accounting or a comparable field. At least 10 years of relevant professional experience in financial/ accounting, ideally in production or regulated environments. Finded accounting knowledge in HGB and US GAAP, including experience with legal qualifications as well as accounting memos/letters. Experience in matrix organisations; ideally in R&E and production companies. proven leadership experience in managing local and/or virtual teams; pronounced coaching and motivation style. Experience with S&OP/Integrated Business Planning as well as cost accounting/KPI frameworks in production. Proactive implementation of initiatives end-to-end. Strong analytical and strategic capabilities; safe in handling large amounts of data and their translation into concrete measures. Ability to influence in a matrix organization and build effective relationships across functions and locations. Found system knowledge in SAP. Flowing German and English in word and writing. Preferred qualifications: Proven successes in process optimization or continuous improvisation initiatives (e.g. automation, standardization, documentation). At best, you already have experience with HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) and BlackLine.
