As Group Manager Automation (m/w/d), you are part of Optima Pharma. In the development and production of intelligent turnkey filling solutions including isolator and freeze dryers, you will work with the pharmaceutical and biotech industry. Future-oriented, sustainable and flexible.

You are responsible for the professional and disciplinary leadership and coordination of a team of automation engineers m/w/d and ensure efficient cooperation. The planning, implementation and optimization of control and automation projects in the field of automation technology, process automation and control technology is your responsibility. You ensure compliance with appointments, budgets and quality requirements and assume the technical responsibility for commissioning and engineering projects. In close cooperation with other departments, customers and suppliers, you ensure smooth project execution and professional interface coordination. You monitor resource planning and capacity management to ensure the successful implementation of all projects.

You have completed university studies in the fields of process engineering, mechanical engineering, automation technology, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification. You bring multi-year leadership experience and have user knowledge in PLC programming, in particular with Siemens TIA Portal, Step7 or comparable automation patent forms. An interdisciplinary way of thinking, a structured and careful way of working, as well as experience in control and automation projects are a feature. Your solution-orientedness, your communication strength and a safe occurrence in customer contact are your strengths. Flexibility, commitment, readiness to travel and secure English skills complete your profile.
