Our Excelitas location in Göttingen is the competence center for the development and production of photonic solutions for the semiconductor equipment market. For this very demanding market, the Göttingen site delivers highly complex opto-mechanical modules, subsystems and components for applications in lithography, wafer inspection, chip bonding and packaging. In addition, this site manufactures and supplies a wide range of optical and mechanical components to complete optical systems to support scientific research and development and industrial production.

About the profile The Senior Financial Analyst acts as a trusted business partner for the business unit concerned within the Semiconductor Equipment Division. In this function, it offers important support and insights and acts as a reliable consultant in business decisions, customer requests, the development of business cases taking into account price and margin development. The Senior Financial Analyst is also responsible for the pursuit of R&E projects, the analysis of performance indicators, the interpretation of profit and loss accounting, the participation in operating reviews division and the evaluation of other key performance indicators (KPIs). This position is located in Göttingen and reports directly to the Senior Director of Finance of the Semiconductor Equipment Division. Cooperation with product managers and R&D leaders to provide analysis and tools to explain G&V and FOCF drivers and to optimize performance Communication of deviation analyses to relevant managers Project and NPI tracking and implementation of phase-gate reviews from R&E to production Support for monthly operating reports (MORs) with schedules and analyses Review and adjustment of pricing to maximise profitability Forecast of product line sales and margins in cooperation with front-end and functional ladders Care and upload of the forecast data in OneStream Examination of the final profit and loss account including operating costs (OCOGs) Management of GAAP sales recognition plans and analysis of corresponding bookings Persecution and analysis of R&D projects and their bookings Support for allocation processes to assign expenses at cost centers and profit centers Creation of margin reports and deviation analyses (SOX-relevant) Support for ad hoc reporting and business cases for product launches, investments and M&A Participation in external audits on sales and business issues

completed studies in finance, accounting or comparable qualifications; an MBA is advantageous At least five years of professional experience in financial or accounting, ideally in the manufacturing environment Knowledge of AX, SAP, Power BI systems Knowledge about S4/HANA and about planning and reporting instruments such as Hyperion or OneStream are advantageous Outstanding financial and business understanding Ability to cross-functional cooperation at all levels of enterprise Self-conscient, responsible working and high intellectual curiosity English in Word and Writing Experience in regulated environments (ISO 9001, 14001, 13485, FDA-QSR) of advantage
