Logistics Manager - Oceanfreight (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the entire value chain from the negotiation of logistics costs to the disposition of our minerals and chemicals. You manage multimodal logistics chains from the supplier to the end customer. You are contact:in for our customers:in the management of the worldwide flows of goods. You understand your role as an internal consultant and work closely with adjacent departments. You are connected globally with our divisions and regions and externally with our logistics partners. You control your area of responsibility independently based on KPIs.

You correspond with shippers, brokers, agents, and our internal specialist departments. You are proactively exploring international market trends in Oceanfreight, identifying new logistics partners:inside and developing sustainable optimization potentials. You work independently and actively on projects, think strategically and are responsible for the operational implementation, you always do this in line with our corporate strategy.

You have a completed training, ideally as a shipping businessman/woman, or have an economic study, e.g. with a focus on maritime management or a comparable qualification with a corresponding practical reference. You bring multi-year professional experience in Oceanfreight in an internationally operating company. You are a real team player and motivated to actively support our team. You work proactively and independently, bring a high degree of self-initiative and convince by a safe occurrence. Even in challenging situations, you remain structured, keep an overview and find targeted ways. You appreciate work in an international environment and enjoy working with different cultures. With your open, solution-oriented way, you go confidently to different stakeholders and find the right words in complex situations. Your English skills are certainly in word and writing.
