As a service engine engineer BHKW, you will ensure that our block heating power plants run reliably with our customers. In your service area, you take care, maintenance and troubleshooting to the mechanical components of the systems. You are assigned to the Krefeld site, but you start your working day directly from home - for example from Krefeld, Düsseldorf, Essen, Dortmund, Cologne, Bonn, Solingen or Wuppertal. From there you drive to our customers and enter the facilities on site. For multi-day operations, you will stay in a hotel close to the customer if necessary. So you're home under the week close to the site and for the weekend.

You don't have to be a BHKW expert: as a motor vehicle engineer, Nfz engineer, industrial mechanic, mechatronic engineer or land and construction machine mechatronic without any prior experience, you are welcome to us. We work in a comprehensive way and show you everything you need for your successful entry into BHKW technology. For your use, you will receive smartphone, laptop, tablet and a fully equipped service vehicle. You are usually at home with our customers during the week and for the weekend.

A readiness to travel from approx. 70-80 % within your region you should bring. You are mostly in use with our customers under the week and spend the weekends at home. Your journey times are of course counted as working hours. In addition, you will receive a tank card and benefit from over-tariff, tax-free charges. For overnight stays, you will receive 10 € per day in addition to the legal regulations.

These are your tasks:

performing maintenance and maintenance work as well as commissioning of block heating power plants and corresponding gas engines Testing of plant parameters and processes, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and troubleshooting Supporting our customers and documentation of maintenance work Participation in the standby service (approx. 2 - 3 times a year)

Complete training as motor vehicle mechanics, commercial vehicle mechanics, industrial mechanic, mechatronics, agricultural and construction machinery mechatronics or comparable technical training Professional experience in the field of motor technology with the focus on energy production plants desirable, but not necessarily necessary (open for professional starters or cross-enterers) Self-employed, structured and team-oriented work Binding appearance and professional handling with our customers Valid driving licence of class B, readiness to travel in the service area around 250 km
