For the EDEKA ZENTRALE Stiftung & Co. KG at the Hamburg site, we are looking for a purchaser / buyer - own brand sweetware - focus on chocolate (m/w/d).

Your duties

As a buyer: you can bring your ideas and develop processes. It expects a varied and challenging job where you take responsibility for your tasks from the outset.

• With know-how and vision, you are responsible for the procurement of goods and the continuous development of the chocolate range of our own brands

• You will accompany your products from the idea to the market launch and take part in this:

• the idea/trend scouting

• product development in cooperation with (potential) suppliers and our quality assurance

• the contract negotiations (price, delivery conditions etc.) and supplier visits

• the packaging design in cooperation with marketing

• In addition, with the help of assortment and market analyses as well as competition observations, you will discover potentials that you use to further develop your own brand range

• Within the framework of invitations to tender, you will conduct negotiations with the (inter)national suppliers and develop, together with them, flexible procurement procedures

• In close cooperation with marketing, you plan national promotions and advertising campaigns

• Further on your agenda: the implementation and evaluation of tastings and the derivation of measures

• In your role, you will present your products and successes in the meetings with the EDEKA regional companies and net brand discount

• Your communication skills and trend sense are required if you participate in relevant trade fairs for us

• Finally, run the shopping specialist:in technical terms, and make sure that we have one wheel in the other

Your profile

• They bring a completed economic studies or comparable training/qualification with
• You have at least two years of professional experience in the purchase or trade of confectionery, preferably with a focus on chocolate
• First experiences in the production environment or a deepened raw material expertise are advantageous, in particular in the context of confectionery or confectionery. Chocolate production
