We are looking for you as a manager*in International Affairs for our International Affairs Team. Our team works closely with the teams of Public Affairs, Communication and Strategy and our focus is on managing international port relations.

You analyze and evaluate the development of international port structures, identify new possibilities for cooperation and develop strategies of cooperation. In your role, you are one of the key players for national and international harbour and political cooperation – from startup to coordination and partly operational cooperation. You represent the HPA in various committees of the European Seaports Organization (ESPO) and perform further tasks within the framework of ESPO membership. In addition, you are responsible for the representation of HPAs to EU institutions and other administrations in Germany and abroad. Your duties include the planning, coordination and support of domestic and foreign delegations, as well as the organisation of international tours of the management. Results and recommendations for action are summarized in reports, presentations and decision-making templates for management and policy-makers.

You have an academic degree (Master/Uni Diplom) of the Department of Business Administration, Law, European Studies or a similar study focus. Your multi-annual professional experience as well as your well-founded economic and business knowledge are yours. You bring good legal knowledge, especially in European law. Both in German and English, you communicate absolutely safely and ideally with another foreign language. Your work is characterised by self-initiative and diplomatic skill. In addition, you are able to analyse complex facts, weigh for and against and make informed decisions or decisions. to make recommendations.
