As an Operation Expert (m/w/d) in the Purchase-to-Pay environment, you act as a central interface in operational accounting and work closely together in a team of eleven people with different levels of experience. In doing so, you will ensure a stable and efficient daily business process and actively contribute to the clarification of complex issues. At the same time, you continuously develop the existing processes and actively shape the change to more automated and digitally influenced processes. The focus is increasingly shifting from standardized activities to quality assurance, clarification cases and the participation of future-oriented methods and system landscapes in accounting. As an Operation Expert in the Purchase-to-Pay environment (m/w/d), you are responsible for the independent processing of all operations and ensure a stable, timely and high-quality process in the daily business. You are analysing and clarifying complex facts, deviations and special cases and develops resilient and comprehensible solutions. The aim is to sustainably avoid recurring problems and to make processes more efficient. Ensuring high process and data quality is one of your key tasks: You identify vulnerabilities, inconsistencies and sources of errors in the operational process and guide appropriate measures to improve. You actively contribute to the continuous development of the processes, identify optimization potentials and leverage your operational experience to implement improvements in a targeted manner. The digitalization and automation of processes are actively driving you ahead, and you will participate in initiatives to standardize and introduce new working methods, including the use of AI-based solutions to increase efficiency, quality and transparency. In addition, you work in projects and initiatives, introduce your expertise and support the implementation of new processes, systems and organizational changes. In the team and at the interfaces, you are interested in close cooperation, sharing your knowledge actively and supporting the further development of common working methods in accounting.

You have a completed economic study or a comparable qualification. In addition, you bring multi-year experience in accounting, especially in the purchase-to-pay environment as well as adjacent end-to-end financial processes. Experience in the analysis, standardization and further development of financial processes, as well as ideally in transformation projects, such as in the context of ERP or digitization projects, distinguishes you. You are able to translate technical requirements in process and system logics and have a good understanding of the relationships between P2P, O2C, A2R, plant accounting and main book. Experience in the use of digital solutions as well as the readiness to actively apply automation and AI-based methods round off your professional profile. Analytical and conceptual thinking allows you to process complex technical issues structuredly and to initiate sound decisions. A high level of autonomy, communication skills and the ability to convey professional content in a manner that is appropriate to the addresseee are just as good as your willingness to change and design competence.
