Head of Central Purchasing (m/w/d) in an owner-managed group of companies

Together with our client, we are looking for an experienced buyer (m/w/d) for the Head of Central Purchasing with pronounced management qualities in the course of the age succession. In this key role, you are responsible for all material procurement and actively shape the strategic processes to advance the company's further development.

You have a well-founded commercial training/study with a focus on shopping and have already gained success especially in strategic shopping? With your expertise, you can then make a decisive contribution to rewriting the company's success story and designing innovative shopping processes.

Management and further development of the central purchasing team (<5 employees) and the material management at the sites (> 15 employees) Parent responsibility for material procurement and budget planning Negotiating long-term framework agreements with suppliers (mainly in Europe) Coordination of shopping activities within the DACH region Optimization of material management and supplier management

Complete economic studies or a comparable qualification with a focus on purchasing Multiannual experience in a leading or deputy purchasing position Embossed negotiation skills and communication strength in German and English Enthusiasm for technical products, ideally with experience in the wood sector Secure handling of MS Office and modern ERP systems
