Educational professionals sought for intensive 1:1 support in youth services (m/f/d)

We work with young people who have fallen through every grid. Children and adolescents who break borders, test relationships and have often learned that adults go anyway. That's why we're not looking for perfect careers. We are looking for people with attitude. With clarity. With stamina.

You accompany a young person as part of an intensive 1:1-measure in an intensive educational group. No standard service. No “08/15” pedagogy. You're here when situations escalate. You stop when others break. You give structure, security and orientation. And you're building a relationship that was often just mistrust.

Overview of your tasks Intensive 1:1 care of a child or adolescent in everyday stationary life. Building stable and reliable relationships. structuring everyday life and promoting emotional stability. Crisis intervention, deescalation and protection measures. Promoting social skills and everyday skills. Implementation of the aid planning according to SGB VIII (§34 / §35a / §36). Cooperation with the youth office, school, therapist: women and families. Documentation and participation in team and case discussions.

A completed training or study in the pedagogical field: educators:in, social education:in, social workers:in, medical education:in or comparable. Experience in youth assistance, housing group work or intensive educational settings is desirable. Professional dealing with crises and challenging behavior. Strong nerves and a calm appearance. The ability to clear borders — without power games. Humor, reflection and team skills. Ready for shift, night and weekend services. Driving class B desirable.

An indefinite job in stationary youth assistance. Intensive training in 1:1 and intensive education. Regular supervision, consulting and team support. Continuing training in: trauma education, deescalation, binding work, violence prevention. Remuneration based on TV-L S including surcharges. A multi-professional team standing behind you. Space for own educational ideas and design. A task that is not always easy — but damn important. .
