Head of Accounting (m/w/d)

In this newly created key role, you take over the technical and disciplinary management of financial accounting and ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual accounts are drawn up in a timely, precise and regular manner. You are responsible for the ongoing optimization of processes, the construction of efficient structures and the safe handling of tax issues.

The position is particularly attractive due to its high design playroom, its close connection to management and the possibility of actively shaping the further expansion of the financial processes within the Group.

Overall responsibility for financial accounting with a team of currently four employees and ensuring smooth operations at all German locations. Creation of monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and preparation of IFRS reports for the Group. Responsibility for main accounting, tax returns (USt, KöSt) and communication with auditors and tax authorities. further development and harmonisation of financial processes in the national context; Optimization of internal processes and interfaces. Creating and commenting financial analyses, budgets and forecasts, as well as ensuring compliance with internal control policies. Responsibility for cash management including liquidity planning and management. Support for strategic projects, such as the introduction of new ERP systems or digitalization initiatives in finance.

You are an experienced accounting officer with the right to take responsibility and actively shape structures. Successfully completed training on the account holder (IHK) or comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience in financial accounting, ideally in a producing environment. Knowledge of HGB, Tax Law and IFRS as well as experience in Group Reporting. Leadership experience and the ability to motivate and develop a team. Readiness to travel for cross-site cooperation within Germany. Safe handling of ERP systems and good Excel skills. Good knowledge of English in word and writing. Structured and independent operation.
