Director & Plant Manager Himmelkron (m/f/d)

Your role: As Director & Plant Manager (m/w/d) you have the overall responsibility for our production site Himmelkron. You conduct cross-sector teams with a strategic vision, promote a performance-oriented and collaborative corporate culture and manage all operational processes - from production and quality to logistics, maintenance and HSE. In this function, you will report to Senior Vice President Operations Europe. Your challenge: Responsibility for all work functions: production, quality, logistics, maintenance, technical service and HSE Development and implementation of strategic location and business plans in accordance with the senior corporate objectives Budget management, investment planning and control of costs, efficiency and performance indicators Building and further development of a powerful leadership team and active talent promotion Implementation of a sustainable quality management system and continuous improvement processes Ensuring smooth production and logistics processes and technical availability Responsibility for compliance with all legal requirements in the fields of safety, environment and compliance Active care of relationships with internal and external stakeholders and representation of the company to the outside

Your profile: Education: Successfully completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification. An MBA is advantageous. Professional experience: At least 10 years of professional experience of which 5-8 years of experience in a corresponding position in senior management, including experience in managing executives Expertise: Comprehensive experience in production planning, budgeting, cost management and financial analysis to control a larger production site Deep knowledge of quality management and standards TS 16949, IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 Practice in maintenance, inventory control and resource management Detectional successes in the implementation and control of continuous improvement processes (Lean, Kaizen, Hoshin) Experience in risk management and sound knowledge of production bases Establishment of environmental, health and safety as a guide function Ability to implement development programmes for managers and employees in a targeted manner

Language knowledge: Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Personality: Embossed leadership with clear result orientation and strategic thinking High communication capability and persuasion at all levels Ability to motivate, develop and lead teams to excellence High adaptability and openness for changes in dynamic market environments Impressed hand-on mentality and consistent decision-making and implementation competence
