We are looking for the Office for Social Affairs and Participation of the Landeshauptstadt Stuttgart. The place shall be occupied as of 1 September 2025 and shall be suspended until 31 December 2026.

The Office for Social Affairs and Participation has the task of promoting the care infrastructure and offering provider-neutral advice. The place is assigned to the Civil Service Life at the age, which advises citizens on all issues of age.

A job that enthuses you

• You inform, advise and accompany counsellors on all issues of age, especially in case of support and supply needs
• They support everyday management and the organisation of personal assistance, case management
• Support for the use of financial assistance, including benefits under SGB XII, XI and the Housing Law, is also part of your tasks
• Control and co-operation in target-group, topic- and city-part-related working communities and coordination of civic engagements
• They work on the further development of the quarters as well as the local support and assistance offers with

Your profile that suits us

• a completed study in the field of social work or social education
• good legal knowledge in the Social Codes SGB V, SGB XI and SGB XII
• Empathic approach to older people and the implementation of a positive age picture, knowledge and experience in counselling work as well as security in the discussion are advantageous
• Skills to further develop support networks for older people
• Basic knowledge in case management and computer-assisted help planning and documentation as well as responsible organisation of your own work structure
• desirable are experience in the field of civic engagement and openness for city-part-oriented work and network work
