You are responsible for the safe and highly available operation of our virtualization and storage platforms in the enterprise environment. You keep managing, optimizing and developing our VMware Cloud Foundation Landscape (VCF) including vSphere, vSAN and NSX. You are responsible for our NetApp storage infrastructure (SAN/NAS) and ensure its availability, performance and scalability. You plan and accompany lifecycle measures, major releases, upgrades and technology rollouts. You drive the automation, standardization and further development of our data center platforms. You can develop new technologies and actively shape our Datacenter architecture.
You have a degree in computer science, an IT training or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of experience in the operation and further development of complex data center infrastructures. You have profound knowledge of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, vSAN and NSX. You have extensive experience with enterprise storage systems, preferably NetApp ONTAP in the SAN and NAS environment. Ideally, you already have experience with data protection and backup solutions such as Dell PowerProtect Data Domain, Heading or comparable technologies. Automation and standardization of infrastructure processes are part of modern IT operations, ideally with tools such as PowerCLI, Ansible or Terraform.
