Chief AI & Technology Officer (CAIO / CTO) IPAI (m/w/d)

Artificial intelligence is the future and key technology and enables us to solve the challenges of the next decades. Only if the German economy creates a leading position in value added in the AI sector can it maintain its competitiveness and actively shape sustainable and ethical values. Through cooperation in the ecosystem, this transformation is achieved through the pooling of resources. IPAI wants to represent this platform. We advance the value added in the field of AI, network application and transformation partners and create common user cases. For this we build the place where ideas can be rethinked, tried and learned. All with the aim of developing new business ideas and models through AI solutions, based on the foundations of sustainability, digital responsibility and European sovereignty.

We are looking for a Chief AI & Technology Officer (m/w/d) with sound AI know-how and excellent network in the tech world to expand our management team. You drive the IPAI Innovation Platform's AI strategy forward and are responsible for all technological issues and decisions You bear the strategic and operational responsibility for our AI & Tech team, whose structure you actively shape. In addition, you are responsible for corporate IT You are working intensively with current technological innovations, trends and developments in the field of Artificial Intelligence and give important impulses to our AI community and internal fields of expertise With your team, you will accompany our member & partners in their AI transformation (including AI strategy, maturity analysis, use case development, etc.) and bear the DevOps responsibility for our services in this area, together with the team product strategy You advise our internal decision-makers in the context of Tech-Due Diligence activities, e.g. in the establishment and development of strategic partnerships or in investment decisions You are responsible for building and operating a powerful technology and AI infrastructure, including state-of-the-art AI tools that make our own processes and services competitive and provide added value for our members & partners You use your strong network in the tech and AI scene and support strategic partnerships with relevant companies, research institutions and policy-makers As an important “Face of IPAI” you represent our innovation platform at conferences (e.g. keynotes, panels) and represents our interests in professional dialogue with politics, business and research – with this To further establish IPAI as a leading AI innovation platform

As an AI and tech generalist, you bring diverse and relevant application experience (>10 years) and excellent tech skills, including in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, etc. As a very experienced leader, you have many years of experience (>10 years) in building and managing several teams in a dynamic technology environment, ideally also in large and established companies You are familiar with innovation processes, programs and current methods and have an excellent understanding of business models and monetization in the context of technology innovation and AI solutions You have a large and resilient network in the AI scene and tech world and are First Mover for the latest developments and trends You are strong in communication, smart and resilient and have a safe and authentic appearance.
