For our new logistics center in Diemelstadt between Kassel and Paderborn we are looking for an ambitious Junior Operations Manager (m/w/d) contract logistics.

Take responsibility: You control and optimize all operational processes with the aim of 100% customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership with a vision: You run and develop your warehouse team (m/w/d) both professionally and in a disciplined manner, coordinate the personnel deployment and take care of personnel requirements messages and orders from service providers.

Customer contact at eye level: As a contact person (POC) for the customer, ensure compliance and continuous improvement of quality and performance indicators.

Ensure efficiency: you control, monitor and optimize operational processes and ensure compliance with all statutory and internal occupational health policies.

Promote further development: You ensure a structured incorporation of new employees and support through targeted training and development measures.

Staff meetings & coaching: You accompany your team through regular feedback talks and promote individual development.

Responsibility: You represent the location manager and take over the planning and approval of holidays for your team.

Qualification: Graduated university studies, ideally in logistics, business management (BWL), economy (VWL) or a comparable discipline – alternatively a corresponding further training in the logistics sector.

Professional experience & leadership skills: First professional experience in logistics (at least 3 years) and in leadership of employees

Operational expertise: knowledge of personnel deployment planning, goods management systems, logistics KPIs and improvement processes in operational operation.

Language competence: German and English language skills.

Project Management & Soft Skills: First experience in project management of advantage. You convince with their strong communication strength, social competence and leadership qualities.

Personal strengths: Enforcement, analytical and problem-solving thinking, innovative power and affinity for numbers.
