Number: MER0003OS4 In the overall vehicle design of the above-mentioned series we act as vehicle architects. Here we are responsible for the integration of all electrical drives in all derivatives of the C/E/GLC class, including coordination with our daughter, the Mercedes-AMG GmbH. In this context, the team coordinates and supervises all modules of the e-drive/underbody and forms the central interface of the vehicle to the electric drive area. Future innovations and concepts in the drive area are implemented cross-functionally for all series. A close interconnection with project management and vehicle testing allows a complete overview over department boundaries. Further tasks result in the participation of the vehicle bodies in production plants and in the prototype construction. These challenges include: Processing of design tasks and concepts in the context of the entire vehicle package in existing and new vehicle generations Takeover and control of work packages in the development process, focus E/E (electricity/electronics) Accompanying the digital design (DMU) to the hardware/prototypes (PMU) in the start-up factory Cooperation with the body management and management of its own bodies Own-responsible processing of projects and presentation of work results before the appropriate decision-makers/Chief Engineers Participation in the evaluation, use and development of a calculation tool for the virtual determination of the motor movements in the vehicle on the basis of selected vehicle tests/simulations Further vehicle-specific tasks and projects as part of the team order The internship can start from September 2025.
