Embedded Core & OS: You design and develop hardware-related software (Middleware & Drivers) based on embedded Linux and FreeRTOS. Integrated Security: You implement cryptographic solutions for layer 1 and layer 2 encryption for secure data transmission. Architecture & design: From requirement analysis to scalable software architecture, you shape the entire stack and select appropriate libraries. Connectivity: You develop efficient APIs and interfaces for controlling complex hardware components. Modern Tooling: You work with Cross-Compile Toolchains, have experience with Autotools and know automation solutions such as Jenkins.

Education: Master in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Physics. A PhD with a focus on cryptography or embedded systems is a plus, but no need for appropriate professional experience. C expert: You control C in sleep, are safe in Python/Bash and know how to respond to hardware interfaces (I2C, SPI, PCIe). Crypto-know-how: You have profound experience with encryption methods (symmetric/asymmetrical, AES-GCM, ECC/ECDH) as well as with key management and authentication protocols. Interest in post-quantum cryptography (PQC) is very welcome. Linux professional: You have deep knowledge of embedded Linux, kernel adaptations and driver development. Network confession: Experience with protocols such as Ethernet, OTN or Fibre Channel is desirable. Operation: You value Clean Code, use version management systems such as Git securely and have the right to deliver stable high-performance software. Language: Very good German knowledge and good English skills.
