In order to strengthen the area of occupational safety and health protection within the REWE Group, we are looking for a colleague in the Rhine-Main area with a training as a 'specialist in occupational safety'.

As an internal service organization, you can independently serve our markets and stores in the Rhine-Main area. You are contact persons in all questions of occupational safety and health protection.

As a security specialist, you act according to the legal requirements and bring your expertise in a targeted manner. You provide competent and practical advice to REWE Group executives and stakeholders on all issues relating to occupational safety and health. Together with specialist areas and internal customers, you develop tailor-made safety concepts and accompany their successful implementation. You are in exchange with external bodies such as professional associations and authorities and act as a reliable interface for all safety-relevant concerns. In addition, you work closely with the business units of REWE Group, the personnel departments, specialist departments, the leading specialist, regional executives and the works councils.

What convinces us: With a completed training or an appropriate degree, such as in safety engineering, occupational health and safety, environmental or engineering, technical management, risk management or a comparable field of expertise, you will provide a solid basis for this task. Equally important is your qualification as a specialist for occupational safety (FASi/SiFa) according to ASiG or DGUV, ideally with industry specific trade and commodity logistics. Additional knowledge in fire protection (e.g. fire protection officer) or in safety-related care increases your application width. You communicate safely, convince with a clear and structured way of working and keep control even in challenging situations. Conversation and moderation are part of your everyday life, and you will find pragmatic solutions even if different interests meet. It is self-evident for you, and the current MS‐Office programs are used for documentation, analysis and presentation. Your attention to detail is particularly convincing – combined with a high capacity for implementation and enforcement. This allows you to advance projects in a targeted manner and ensure a high level of work security in the entire area of responsibility.
