Social worker/Social education (m/w/d)

The tasks:

Social pedagogical advice and support for women with special protection requirements in the field of living

• development of realistic and appropriate housing perspectives taking into account individual needs, financial possibilities, family situation and protection aspects
• Enlightenment of social opportunities related to housing search, accommodation costs, initial equipment, moving costs and other support services
• Implementation of office hours and group offers for accommodation, renting, application documents, visits and preparation for independent living
• Support for the compilation, preparation and examination of necessary documents for housing applications and performance applications
• Contact and contact care for renters
• Active residential acquisition in a large, also regional network of landlords, housing companies, cooperatives and other cooperation partners:inside
• accompaniment to apartment visits and preparation of appointments with women
• Support in the clarification and processing of necessary contractual matters in close coordination with the bodies involved
• preparation of moves and transitions, in particular by connecting to consultancy centres, social services, schools, kitas, medical care and support services to new residential areas
• Network work with municipalities, service providers, women's support system, housing and other relevant actors:
• Case-related documentation, reporting and participation in the professional development of the work area

The professional framework:

• Complete study of social work / social education or a comparable educational qualification
• knowledge of the advice and support of people in burdensome situations
• knowledge of social law or the willingness to work deeper into relevant performance areas
• Experiences in network work and housing
• Sensitivity for the life situations of women with special protection, as well as for issues such as violence, flight, housing and family burdens
• language skills, at least English; Other languages are of great advantage
• Class B driving licence
• Security in handling digital documentation and common office applications
