The Weiden Clinic is one of the most important cornerstones of the high level of emergency care for the region and ensures a fast and optimal supply in emergency – whether in case of stroke, heart attack, serious accidents or other acute diseases. The basis for optimal, near-home care is outstanding diagnostic and treatment possibilities in all clinics. The state-of-the-art technical equipment is also shown in the OP area. The previously high level with hybrid OP or integrated OP hall was further increased by introducing the OP robotic system “da Vinci Xi”. With its 62 beds, the Clinic for Children's and Youth Medicine secures the highly qualified statis­tical and outpatient paediatric care for the entire northern and middle upper valley. Our future-oriented concept combines the complete paediatrics under one roof: the acute clinic (including the Certified Perinatal Centre Level II), the attached medical centre (MVZ) and the social paediatric centre (SPZ). We offer a comprehensive range of support from neonatology to general paediatrics, children's cardiology and diabetics to specific psychosomatic and neuropaediatric disorders. In the centre of a holistic patient care, we work together interprofessionally as well as closely and cooperatively with all other specialist departments of the clinic. In order to optimally shape a flowing generation change, we offer you an attractive transition model: You start as 01.04.2027 or 01.07.2027, or even earlier, initially as a “co- chief physician or co- chief physician” in the collegial system on the side of our long-term chief physician Dr. Fritz Schneble. With its scheduled retirement entrance in the first half of 2028, you take over the sole head of the entire clinic.

In this key position, you will lead the clinic for children and youth medicine comprehensively in medical, organizational and economic terms and ensure patient care at the most modern medical level. A central focus of your work is on the strategic development of the clinic as well as the optimal stimulation and further development of the close interconnection of the static clinic, MVZ, SPZ and paediatrics. In order to anchor the paediatrics firmly in the region, you operate an intensive network work and cooperate closely with established doctors, external instructors and internal specialist departments of our house. In addition, you are strongly involved in the promotion of growth and are responsible for the firmed training of assistants and doctors.

For this demanding leadership task, we are looking for a personality with the recognition as a specialist (m/w/d) for pediatric and youth medicine, which already has a multi-year leadership experience in a senior position – for example as a senior senior physician/conductive senior physician or chief physician. You already have the full training authorization for children's and youth medicine or apply for it in a timely manner. You bring well-founded knowledge as well as a surrounding clinical expertise throughout the entire spectrum of the pediatrics. In addition to the focus on neonatology, we would like to see a further focus or additional name, which can be used to extend the range of our care in the clinic, the day care clinic and the SPZ. In particular, we see a need for supply in the field of paediatric gastro­nology, endocrinology and pneumology / allergology.
