During your training, you work in various laboratory areas and get to know the processes of a modern pharmaceutical company. You learn the safe handling of chemicals, substances and analysis systems and apply all relevant safety regulations. In the laboratories of quality control, you carry out investigations of drugs as well as raw, active and auxiliary substances. You can apply both conventional wet chemical processes such as titrations or distillations as well as modern computer-assisted analyzers (e.g. chromatography, spectroscopy or tablet testing systems) and get to know their care and maintenance. The documentation and statistical evaluation of analytical results were your tasks as well as the work according to fixed specifications. You work in a regulated environment according to the rules of good manufacturing practice (GMP) and according to the prescriptions of the medicinal books. In addition to practical training in the company, visit the Carl-Engler-Schule in Karlsruhe in block lessons, where you will deepen theoretical and practical foundations.
