Purchasing is responsible for the procurement of these materials and components and together with its partners shapes the supply chains of the future. In times of global supply networks, e-mobility and increasing sustainability requirements, it is an important strategic area of our company. About us: Our team is responsible for external and internal communication on the issues of purchasing and human rights at Mercedes-Benz, from responsible supply chains and ESG requirements to human care obligations to future-oriented procurement strategies. We communicate these activities and measures from Mercedes-Benz to employees, media and the public. This is what we expect: Participation in creating content for internal and external communication around purchasing and human rights across different channels and formats

Participation in communication projects and coordination with internal departments (e.g. purchasing, sustainability, law)

Support in creating key communication documents such as Q&As, statements, language regulations and briefings on current shopping and human rights issues

Participation in regular exchange formats for ideas finding and topic planning

Insights into further tasks of Mercedes-Benz Communication and the work of an international group in a dynamic, socially relevant environment

The activity can begin from September 2026.

That's what you bring: Studies in Communications, Media, Economics, Sustainability or Social Sciences, Journalism or a comparable degree programme

Embossed editorial skills and a sense of targeted content, including complex and sensitive topics

Interest in sustainability, human rights, global supply chains and socially relevant developments

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Digital mindset and secure handling of MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Word); Knowledge in handling AI tools (e.g. copilot) is a plus

Quick conception, high readiness for learning and independent working

Curiosity, openness, creativity, hands-on mentality and joy in introducing your own ideas

Team spirit, intercultural competence and a sovereign appearance

Organisational strength and ability to keep track of multiple topics
