Our pregnant and weekly bed station is part of our mother-child center – you work closely with experienced midwives, nurses, nursing counselors, doctors. We support each other – professional and human.

In the sense of a family-oriented birth aid, we attach great importance to the fact that parents and newborns spend as much time together as possible – that is why we have made our way towards achieving certification for the Baby-friendly Hospital to WHO/UNICEF criteria.

This is your working day

You treat pregnant women, women and newborns competently and sensitively. Your duties include:

• Implementation of basic and treatment care, monitoring of vital values and detecting risk situations
• Support for breastfeeding, newborn care and support for parent-child-binding
• Monitoring of risk newborns
• Accompanying visits, U2, diagnostics and therapeutic measures as well as cooperation with the medical team
• Careful documentation, implementation of hygiene standards, participation in internal quality testing and improvement of care processes
• Close cooperation with midwives, medical staff and other specialist areas
• Participation in the implementation of the targeted BFHI certification and promotion of quiet-friendly structures at the station
