Product Manager Industrial and Plant Engineering Building Services (m/f/d)

As a product manager for industrial and plant engineering, you actively shape the expansion of our product portfolio in the area of safety-relevant fastening systems. You work together in the team of project and product management, development and sales on market-oriented solutions. You analyze market, competition and customer requirements for your responsible range and observe relevant developments and trends in technical building equipment. You maintain, expand and develop existing and new system solutions for object equipment in industrial and plant engineering and implement market requirements in innovative, user-oriented technical solutions. You create and optimize constructions, meet technical requirements with production and suppliers and bring your expertise into the technical development of the portfolio. You plan and accompany component and system experiments internally and externally, identify relevant component properties and take into account standards, authorisations, structural requirements and economic aspects. You are responsible for the implementation of new articles as well as the creation and maintenance of technical product documentation, data sheets, assessment bases, assembly instructions and approval documents. You support sales and internal support functions with their technical expertise, advise customers on technical issues and accompany complex projects, for example in the field of special solutions.

You have completed technical studies in mechanical engineering or civil engineering. You have several years of experience in product development or in technical product management - ideally in the field of fastening technology, steel construction, plant construction, TGA or in technical systems and components. You have a very good technical understanding of load-bearing and safety-relevant components. In the field of material grades and materials, in particular steel, coatings and comparable material systems, you have well-founded knowledge. In dealing with standards, admissions and testing processes, you have already gained experience. You have experience in design and application technology; ideally, CAD skills in systems such as SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo or comparable programs complement your profile. A structured and responsible way of working, secure communication in German and English, as well as the pleasure of direct exchange with customers, partners and internal interfaces are the key features.
