Development and design of software architectures for automation and control systems Analysis of complex technical requirements in close cooperation with adjacent specialist departments (sales, construction, project management, processing) Definition and maintenance of architectural guidelines as well as control of developer teams HMI and PLC in implementation Technical evaluation of new software and hardware solutions in the context of maritime applications Responsibility for interface design, data exchange formats and integration concepts System integration and commissioning support – occasionally also on-board

Complete study of automation technology, electrical engineering or computer science or comparable Multiannual experience in software development and architectural design, preferably in the maritime environment Knowledge found in automation and control technology (e.g. SPS, SCADA, fieldbus systems) Experience with systems of maritime electrical engineering (e.g. energy distribution, ship infrastructure, control systems) of great advantage Ability to analyze complex relationships and structure them clearly Communication strength, team spirit and initiative Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
