Release Train Engineer (RTE) – ART Customer & Broker (m/f/d)

As a Release Train Engineer (RTE), you take on the overall methodological and organizational responsibility for the Agile Release Train “Kunde & Makler” with several agile software development teams. You do not understand the ART as an event or appointment frame, but as a permanent, value-creating software organization. Your focus is on ensuring flow, transparency, stability and delivery at ART level and continuously improving. As a Servant Leader and Coach, you can create the framework conditions in which teams, product management and architecture can work effectively. You develop the ART specifically in agile maturity and support the organization to think product development holisticly along the software life cycle. You work closely with business owners, product managers, system architects, people leads and Scrum Mastern – clearly in the role, binding in responsibility. You eliminate systemic and team-wide obstacles, even beyond ART boundaries and promote a Lean-Agile Mindset, the product, delivery and operating aspects

Complete study of computer science, economic informatics, business management or a comparable qualification. Multiannual experience in supporting several software development teams as a Release Train Engineer. Experience in the insurance or financial environment is beneficial, but no need. Found practical experience with SAFe as well as a very good understanding of Scrum and Lean-Agile principles. Deep understanding of software product development and product life cycle, including development, release, operation and further development, as well as the experience of bringing together product, architecture and delivery perspectives at ART level. The ability to identify, structure and effectively influence complex systems, dependencies and dynamics. Clear Servant Leadership approach: lead through orientation, trust and effect – not through control. Very good communication, moderation and coaching skills at eye level with teams and management as well as very good German knowledge in word and writing (safe for negotiation / C2 or comparable) and good English knowledge in word and writing.
