Data Architect (m/f/d)

As Data Architect (m/w/d), you will shape the future of our organization with a holistic understanding of architecture for business, data strategy and scalability. You use complex content in a strategic way between IT, departments and management, and strategically establish technical decisions. Your technological mindset and experience with modern data platforms such as Azure, Databricks or Power BI complete your profile. The development and refinement of architectural policies and design paradigms across all group data flows and landscapes – from on-premises and cloud sources to the consolidated group platform. The planning, coordination and documentation of data models, data integration concepts and interfaces to create a consistent, flexible and future-proof data platform. The conception and implementation of Master Data Management (MDM) strategies to harmonize central master data across all legal entities. The participation in innovative concepts for governance, quality and compliance: You coordinate Data Stewardship & Ownership structures and advise on strategic technical issues. Strategic consulting and the austerity with interdisciplinary teams on new applications, technological developments and transformations in the field of data intelligence. Ensuring that the data infrastructure meets the regulatory requirements (e.g. DORA, BCM) and methods of versioning, historical formation and recovery are implemented. The assessment and selection of technology stacks taking into account the long-term corporate objectives, a special focus is on standardization vs. flexibilisation (e.g. Data Lakehouse vs. Data Mesh). Support in building group-wide data standards, catalogues and process-oriented data models.

Completed training or studies in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable qualifications Multiannual experience as Data Architect, Data Modeler, Solution Architect (m/w/d) or in comparable role in data-driven organisations Excellent knowledge of data modelling, data integration, database technologies (relational & non-relational), cloud architectures and data governance Experience with Data Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, MDM concepts and ideally in the design of modern cloud-based data platforms Flowing German and English skills Ability to evaluate and use new technologies, even outside the Microsoft ecosystem, based on results
