In your position as a laboratory technician, you are primarily responsible for the independent preparation of various test samples and samples (migrations, occlusions) in an inorganic laboratory (the main tasks are the EN 71-3/ toy directive, heavy metal solubility and RoHS screenings). Furthermore, you carry out independent measurements with the help of modern analyzers (e.g.: elementary analysis, spark spectrometer, RFA, ion selective electrode), evaluate the results with the aid of the device software, ensure their documentation and transmit the results to our laboratory information system (LIMS). In addition, you are responsible for the maintenance and calibration of measuring devices as well as the regular functional checks on measuring devices within the calibration intervals. In addition, all quality assurance measures required in an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory are the subject of your daily work. The use of all IT-supported tools relevant in the laboratory completes your task profile. The position is limited to 24 months.

Completed training as a chemical laboratory or CTA, ideally with professional experience in the field of instrumental inorganic chemistry (RFA, ISE, photometry, elementary analysis) Professional experience in an ISO 17025 accredited environment Flexibility, teamability, accuracy combined with an independent working method and willingness to work on new and complex topics Safe handling of MS-Office and a laboratory information and management system (LIMS) German language skills in word and writing as well as good English skills (for understanding international analytical regulations)
