As a frontend developer (m/w/d), you develop and optimize modern web applications with JavaScript frameworks, ensuring high performance and scalable user interfaces and taking technical responsibility as well as mentoring in the team. You work in close coordination with the other frontend team colleagues, our UI/UX designer and colleagues from the backend team. Work is possible at 2 locations (in Berlin or Barsbüttel near Hamburg) or remotely. Development and optimization of modern web applications focusing on JavaScript frameworks and performant user interfaces Implementation of responsive and barrier-free UI components according to current web standards Cooperation with design and backend teams to integrate and further develop digital products Code reviews, best practice development and technical quality assurance to ensure high code standards Mentoring of team members and active participation of technical architecture and development processes

Very good JavaScript skills and experience with established modern frameworks: React (preferably), Svelte, Vue or Angular Knowledge of CSS (LESS, SCSS, Stylus pre-processors, PostCSS, StyledComponents), HTML and the implementation of responsive design Experience with Node.js Tooling and Bundling (Webpack, Babel, Parcel, Rollup, Gulp) Experience with at least one server-side programming language and microservice architecture Knowledge or experience in work with Unix system CLI Experience with teams using CI/CD practices for your development
