We are looking for a legal expert in Naturschutzrecht (m/w/d) for the Department of Environmental Law and Trade Supervision for the Lower Nature Conservation Authority on 15.03.2027 Part-time, fixed-term The amount of employment is 50% of a full-time job and is first up to the 04. March 2029 terminated. Of the 25 employees of the Department of Environmental Law and Trade Supervision, six employees carry out state tasks in nature conservation law. The aim is to protect nature and landscape as well as to preserve biodiversity and natural livelihoods. Nature conservation law ensures and develops the functional and performance of the natural budget by preserving and restoring animals and plants, their habitats and communities as well as the diversity, nature and beauty of nature and landscape. Payment is made up to 9c TVöD or grade A11.

Your tasks: independent processing of nature-protection processes (e.g. distribution/loss of permits and exemptions, implementation of sub-protection procedures, enforcement of general and special species-protection law, examination of pre-purchase rights) Treatment of complaints/environmental notifications and requests for access to environmental information, as well as legal means, forced funds, fines and criminal cases Consultation and information of citizens, businesses and other services on all legal issues of the area of responsibility

Your profile: completed studies as a Dipl.-administrator*in (FH) or Bachelor of Arts - Public Management or Similar Qualification sound knowledge of public law and secure application of legislation; Legal skills are advantageous good MS Office knowledge and the willingness to develop quickly in specialist applications (e.g. NAIS) and active participation in the digitization of work processes Interest in legal landscape and species protection issues and willingness to occasionally exercise external services independent, initiative and service-oriented mode of operation with the ability to process complex facts structured safe occurrence, fast understanding, connected thinking as well as team skills, decision-making and organisational skills
