You act as a central interface for all financial affairs related to Uniper's German hydropower business, including the role of managing director and member of the Supervisory Board in holdings.
You are Sparring Partner for the Head of Business and top management in terms of financial governance and performance management.
You offer a holistic overview and transparency about financial performance and the underlying operational performance factors.
You define and pursue short- and long-term financial targets for Uniper's hydropower fleet in Germany with an installed capacity of almost 2000 MW as well as their investments.
You are an active member of the top management team for Hydro Germany.
You are responsible and accountable for all controlling processes such as mid-term planning, forecasts, impairment tests, reporting, evaluations for the large plant area and ensure smooth interfaces between the business and other financial functions within Uniper.
You support the process of performance reviews, drive value improvements forward and actively challenge the business to achieve financial goals.
You support the decision-making process of management in projects and contracts (strategic decisions / financial decisions) and promote a regular review process for the financial feasibility of projects, including updating planning measures.
You are responsible for the execution and optimization of cost-based electricity contracts with internal and external customers.
You guide and develop the Business Controlling Hydro Germany Team (6 direct reports) and promote best practices across business sectors.
You are a member of the Board of Management in Uniper's German hydropower company Rhein-Main-Donau GmbH (RMD) and Untere Iller GmbH, including Supervisory Board mandates in RMD subsidiary companies.
You run continuous stakeholder management with political and governmental representatives as well as local stakeholders such as land owners or fishermen.
