Consultant Process IT (m/f/d)

You actively develop and operate our Linux IT/OT infrastructure – instead of managing it Design and optimise complex network structures (LAN/WAN) with modern security technologies for stability, performance and protection You manage and optimize our virtualization environment and our software-defined networks (SDN) Not only do you bring security concepts to the paper, but also implement them – including monitoring, attack detection and risk assessment in the KRITIS environment In your role, you tax external service providers, accompany alerts and take responsibility for (partial) projects as well as budgets The stable operation of our control center and data center environments is ensured by structured test, patch and quality management Disorders You systematically go to the ground, sustainably and continuously develop systems, interfaces and data flows Strategically you think: You actively shape our IT architecture and introduce yourself to technical guidelines and future topics You also take responsibility in the standby service – in the team that strengthens each other’s back

A completed study (Bachelor/Master/Diplom) in electrical engineering, computer science, technical computer science, automation or process engineering – alternatively you bring comparable practical experience with You have profound Linux and nftable knowledge, networks and virtualization are not foreign words for you, but passion. Maybe you even run your own homelab? You master Python and Bash to automate recurring tasks and optimize tool chains. Funded know-how in the environment IT/OT, ideally related to network control, IT security or critical infrastructure Knowledge of relevant standards and topics such as ISMS, IT security in network control technology as well as legal requirements (e.g. EnWG, BSIG, KRITIS, NIS2) – or the motivation to work on you specifically here Impressed communication strength, a factual and friendly appearance as well as joy in team collaboration and with various stakeholders A high degree of initiative, organisational skills and the ability to think economically and to enforce yourself in challenging situations Social competence, conflictability and a clear focus on solutions and customer orientation Class B driving licence
