Business Unit Manager (m/f/d)

The focus of your activity is the management of the planning business unit with the sections of route planning, basic acquisition and environmental planning. You take over the overall responsibility as part of the responsibility for action and results for the associated business area and the associated tasks, processes and projects in road and construction planning. In addition to the perception of all relevant and personal management and management tasks, you are responsible for the control, coordination and continuous development of the area. In addition, you are involved in strategically important or professionally particularly demanding tasks and projects and are responsible for coordinating the business and departmental processes. You will also take part in specialist bodies, steering groups and coordination rounds and take over the planning projects in the public as a contact person. Reporting to the external office, branch office and headquarters will complete your responsible task.

The optimal prerequisite for this position is a completed scientific (special) university degree in the field of civil engineering, a comparable qualification or equivalent knowledge and skills acquired in practice. You will also have experience in professional and disciplinary leadership through your professional career and have a cooperative and motivating leadership style. In addition, you have gained expertise in environmental, road and administrative law in your professional practice. You have a very good oral and written expressive capacity in German (at least language level C1). You also have the class B driver's license and a flexibility and readiness to travel in your area of competence. You have in-depth knowledge of building law. That would be desirable: From your practice, you know the terms and procedures in planning management and you have already successfully implemented them. This distinguishes you as a manager: You think in complex contexts and have a pronounced willingness to design, combined with value-estimating behavior and self-reflection. With emotional intelligence and motivating speech, you understand how to inspire, develop and delegate tasks to your employees. You have reflected conflict behaviour. You act and think proactively and are in good faith. You convince by loyal action, serious listening and strong self-motivation. You can promote team diversity and use different approaches.
