For our Core Infrastructure Services program at the Hamburg location, we are looking for you as soon as possible (Senior) MS Exchange Engineer* Innovation & Technology @ Berenberg In an era where digitalization and modern IT infrastructure revolutionize banking, we design a technology-based bank where you work closely with our business units as an IT professional. Our IT department with about 300 employees mostly works agilely according to a Scrumban approach and covers areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, operations, process and governance, software development and architecture. We are particularly proud to develop almost all our applications in-house, which gives us unique flexibility and innovative strength. Our technology stack includes modern technologies such as Java, Kotlin, TypeScript and Python, CI/CD pipelines, containers, Kubernetes as well as Azure cloud, Azure SQL Database and Oracle database with PL/SQL. Your role in the team Our Team Cloud M365 provides the technical basis for our bank IT – reliable, secure and auditable. In your focus on Microsoft Exchange (Exchange Online / Hybrid), you will ensure that messaging is stable as a critical core service, continues to develop and meets the requirements of a banking regulatory environment. You work closely with security, compliance, data protection and the M365-close teams and have real impact: you design standards, automation and architectural decisions that thousands of users feel daily. We work pragmatically, solution-oriented and with a strong Ownership mintset: transparency, clean documentation and “run it like you build it” are not Buzzwords, but living everyday life. Regular votes in the CIS context and clear collaboration across interfaces create the framework in which you drive topics – from stability to security to modernization and lifecycle management. Responsibility for operation, stability and further development of the Microsoff Exchange Platform (Exchange Online / Hybrid) Ensuring availability, security and compliance in the banking regulatory environment Design and implementation of mail flow, security and governance concepts Planning and implementation of migrations, release upgrades and decommissionings 3rd level support and technical leadership at Incidents and Major Problems Creation and maintenance of testable documentation (e.g. BAIT, DORA, ISMS) Close cooperation with information security, compliance, data protection and M365 teams

Multiannual professional experience as Exchange Engineer / Messaging Engineer in the Enterprise environment Very good knowledge of Exchange Online, hybrid scenarios and mail flow architectures Found experience with Mail Security, Auditing, Retention and eDiscovery Experience in regulated IT environments (e.g. financial sector) Structured, responsible way of working with senior-level overwnership Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
