In our Global IT EMEA team, you play a central role in the security and operation of our network and firewall infrastructures. With your know-how, you make sure that our systems are not only reliable, but also well protected. Proactively optimize the network environment and find solutions for complex technical challenges – always with the highest security standards. You work closely with our security area and are in constant exchange when it comes to the further development of our security measures. Interested in creating added value?

Your responsibility: Implementation and operation: Configuration, implementation and maintenance of firewall systems, routers and WAN components.

Network analysis and support: Support of the technical department in the network area, implementation of network analysis and troubleshooting.

System configuration: Adaptation and optimization of the system configurations according to the requirements.

Interface function: Support of the Service Desk team in the processing of complex incidents and service enquiries, in particular for security-relevant topics.

Your profile: Senior Consultant (m/w), IT-Systemelektroniker (m/w) und Studien der Informatik/ Wirtschaftsinformatik.

Multiannual practical experience in the IT environment with a focus on network security and operation.

Knowledge in LAN and WAN infrastructures.

Hands-On experience in network infrastructure and routing.

Good knowledge of at least one of the following manufacturers: HP, checkpoint, fortinet, sophos, Cisco or the like.

Self-responsible and solution-oriented operation and targeting.

Communication skills and team skills.

Secure knowledge of German (from level B) and good knowledge of English (from level C) for cooperation with international partners & colleagues.

Advantage: Good - very good knowledge of German (from level C)

Certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security, CISSP, Cisco CCNA/ CCNP, Fortinet NSE, ...)
